Why Instagram's Saved tab isn't enough
- You can't search saved posts, so finding one means endless scrolling.
- Saved posts only live inside Instagram, separate from the articles and videos you saved elsewhere.
- If the author deletes the post or account, it silently disappears from your saves.
How to save an Instagram post to Hafiza
1. On desktop: right-click the post
Open the post on instagram.com, right-click its timestamp or link and choose "Save link to Hafiza". Or press Ctrl+Shift+S (⌘+Shift+S on Mac) to save the open page.
2. On your phone: copy and paste the link
Tap the share icon under the post, then "Copy link". Open Hafiza and paste it. The title and preview image are fetched for you.
3. Drop it in the right folder
Recipes in "Cooking", design ideas in "Inspiration", tutorials in "Learning". Folders can nest inside folders as deep as you like.
Tips
Add a word you will remember
Write a short note with the link, like the dish or tool name. Search covers titles and notes, so you'll find the post even if you forget the account.
Turn tutorial reels into a playlist
Short reels get buried fast. Give each topic its own folder and come back to it as an ordered list of lessons.
FAQ
Can I save Instagram reels, not just posts?
Yes. Any Instagram link, whether a post, reel or profile, saves to Hafiza the same way.
Does the author know I saved their post?
No. Hafiza stores the link in your private library and never touches your Instagram account.
Do I need to connect my Instagram account?
No. Copy the post link or use the Chrome extension. Hafiza needs no access to your account.
