Hafiza is designed to be your private digital sanctuary. We believe that what you save — your links, ideas, snippets, and collections — belongs to you and you alone. We build with privacy as a foundational layer, not an afterthought. We do not sell your personal data or collections to advertisers, nor do we track your general browsing activity.
1. Account & Personal Information
When you create a Hafiza account, we collect your email address. This email is strictly used to authenticate your access, synchronize your personal library securely across all your devices (web app, browser extension, and mobile app), and send critical service or account recovery updates. We never spam you or sell your contact information.
2. Your Library Content
All the links, bookmarks, code snippets, notes, tag labels, and folder structures you save are stored securely in our databases. This content is private to your account. We only process this data to enable features you request, such as syncing, text indexing for fast search, tag sorting, and collection organization.
3. Browser Extension & Permissions
The Hafiza browser extension only interacts with your browser when you explicitly click it to save a page, link, or snippet. When triggered, it collects the URL, title, and any content/images you select to save to your Inbox. It does not monitor, record, or transmit your history or activities on any other websites.
4. Data Security & Storage
Your authentication and databases are hosted on Supabase, utilizing enterprise-grade security practices. Data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS and at rest using AES-256. We enforce strict database access policies (Row-Level Security) so that only you can read or write to your library.
5. Your Data, Your Control
We believe you should have total control over your digital footprint. You can export your saved collections or delete your Hafiza account entirely at any time from your account settings. Once deleted, your account details and all saved items are permanently removed from our active databases.
